Accounts officer (Receivables / Payables)

 Job Responsibilities:         

  • To monitor and handle day-to-day Accounts Receivables (AR) & Accounts Payables (AP) functions.
  • Prepare customers Invoices/ Debit Note/ Credit Note.
  • Prepare daily sales reports.
  • To facilitate payment of sales invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients to ensure they pay within their agreed payment terms.
  • To verify discrepancies and to resolve any billing issues pertaining to clients’ accounts & provide prompt feedback to relevant sections for further solution.

 

  • Prepare monthly payment of supplier invoices
  • Monitor & process urgent payment requests before the specific deadline.
  • Reconciliation of Receivable/Payable accounts.
  • To assist superior for daily transaction, checking, verification, follow up if necessary.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assign by superior/management from time to time.

 

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting or higher equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in related field is preferred, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Required Skills : Computer literate, knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Words
  • Able to work independently and work under pressure
  • Able to commit time to meet deadline and able to prioritize work
  • Work well in a team as well as individually.
