Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides EHSS expertise and leadership in the development and deployment of EHSS policies, tools, standards, and best practices. Manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the EHSS programs to mitigate risk, prevent injuries, meet regulatory requirements and protect people, property and the environment.

  • Proactively engages with Management teams at all levels to ensure ownership and accountability for EHSS improvement and to develop and influence a positive Health, Safety and Security culture within the organization through effective improvement activities.
  • Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining EHSS standards to ensure necessary programs are in place to reduce employee risk and to comply with company EHS and Security requirements.
  • Identifies and recommends equipment, process and procedural changes to minimize and/or eliminate workplace hazards.
  • Develop, evaluate, recommend, and support process and equipment improvements to minimize the safety risk of company personnel.
  • Develops and maintains expert knowledge of existing and evolving regulations/directives regarding exposure risks and provide direction on current and anticipated requirements.
  • Reviews projects or services specifications to ensure risk mitigation planning is included in project plans.
  • Act as the primary interface with local, state and federal regulatory authorities regarding safety and environmental matters.
  • Responsible as Site Security Officer (SSO) and ensure adherence to Group security requirement.
  • Ensure effectiveness of EHS training programs of company.
  • Adhere and actively participate in occupational safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and activities such as U-See U-Act, GPI, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as required by Management.


  • Excellent understanding and knowledge in EHS / EHSS based on local law and regulations.
  • Possess valid Green Book from Department of Safety & Health (DOSH) and other related competencies would be desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with diplomatic approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Portray the ability to manage complex issues, solutions oriented and able to work in a cross-functional ambiguous environment
