POSITION: Procurement Assistant

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Purchasing Operations

• Assist in sourcing, comparing quotations, and preparing Purchase Orders.

• Follow up with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

• Resolve issues such as late deliveries, damaged goods, or document discrepancies.

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchase requirements.

• Maintain proper records of all PO, quotations, and purchasing documents.

 

2. Supplier Management

• Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.

• To support simple negotiations.

• Update supplier information and assist with supplier performance tracking.

 

3. Weekly Reports

• Prepare weekly purchasing reports and update PO status, delivery progress, and spending summary.

• Track outstanding PO commitments and highlight potential delays or cost changes.

 

4. Administrative Support

• Handle general admin tasks such as filing, data entry, documentation, and office coordination.

• Support other departments with basic administrative needs.

 

5. Others

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

 

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply; experience in purchasing or admin is an advantage.

• Good communication, analytical thinking, and strong attention to detail.

• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; AutoCount knowledge is a plus.

• Able to communicate in English, Mandarin, and Malay (Mandarin preferred for supplier liaison).

• Diploma/Degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, or related fields.

 

– Salary Range: RM2,500 – RM3,500

– Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:30pm
