Project Engineer (Johor Bahru)
POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER
Job Descriptions:
• To always aware of prevention & cost down by continual improvement
• To monitor and ensure project quality plan, work program and assist project manager in monitoring listing of project to complete, project progress, bill of quantity, installation, servicing and / or maintenance works are according to drawing contract specification and work schedule.
• To ensure all worker’s implements and follow Company / Project Rules & Regulation, Safety Rules & Regulations & Work Instruction.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor works at site
• To prepare documents, forms and sheets for submission required by clients and authorities (if required).
• To handle health & Safety (conduct HIRARC) & Quality Assurance & NonConformance in the project.
• To lead the section/division/department personal to achieve Section/Division/Department Objective.
• To prepare & compile Laporan Kerja Siap (LKS) which include details of BQ claim, summary of BQ claim, as built drawing, HDD profile, site picture.
• To prepare & compile check list document which include Underground Detection Mapping (UDM), utilities notification letter & site visit form, section details of checklist, work plan form, propose HDD route, propose HDD profile, photo of entry & exit pit, live tracing video, propose work schedule, method of statement before start work. Prepare as-builts drawings, as-built HDD profile, site photo (on progress and after) AND ETC.
• Provide guidance to project/site supervisor/technical officer in relation to site works, ensure progress according to schedule.
• Liaise with relevant authority for execution of works.
• To involve in Quarterly Health & Safety Inspection / Quarterly Health & Safety Meeting, take action to reduce Quality / Health & Safety Issue.
• To gather information & Data of department & prepare department report for Division Manager/Project Manager/HOD to attend Monthly Management Meeting.
• To always aware of prevention & cost down by continual improvement
• Perform all relevant procedures & practices as defined in the quality system are implemented.
• As department trainer / Internal Auditor. (if required)
• To ensure the work permits are valid for teams to proceed works on site.
• To coordinate with project supervisors and superiors to ensure materials delivery in order.
• To attend or coordinate valuation of progress claim (site measurement) with clients and/or sub-contractors.
• To provide progress reports to Division Manager/Project Manager/HOD for reporting purpose.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical & Engineering / utility services or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Engineering / Utility Services or relevant fields.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Must be able to lead a team is an added advantage.
• Willing to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel or relocate.
• Good communication & correspondence skills with Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Well versed with contract engineering specifications by law/ standard for utilityservices.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 is an added advantage.
