Position: Purchasing Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely supply of materials and consumables for the production.

  • Source new materials for new models and projects.

  • Work with the Design team on material changes, new items, and production requirements.

  • Follow company purchasing policies to secure the best quality at the best price.

  • Coordinate with the Production team on material shortages, replacements, rejected parts, and delivery issues.

  • Work closely with Warehouse, Shipping, and Finance on goods arrival and vendor payments.

Key Duties:

  • Review daily material shortage reports and ensure issues are resolved quickly.

  • Monitor safety stock levels, overdue purchase orders, and job card materials at least once a month.

  • Ensure purchase orders are issued on time so materials arrive before production starts.

  • Work with the Design team on quotations, lead times, and material details.

  • Attend Production, Job Card, and New Model meetings; follow up on any related issues.

  • Coordinate with Finance on PO, invoice, DO, and vendor payment matters.

  • Support Design and QC teams on change orders, cost-saving ideas, and quality issues.

  • Review vendor performance to ensure cost savings, good quality, and low freight costs.

  • Assist Senior Purchasing Executive and Purchasing Manager on special projects when required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning.

  • Strong negotiation and planning skills.

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Good communication and time management skills.

  • Open to candidates from all backgrounds.
