Technical Sales – Software Application (SDO)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Sales team to identify customer needs and recommend suitable software solutions.
• Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations to highlight features, benefits, and value.
• Develop and tailor Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) based on specific client requirements.
• Prepare responses for technical sections of RFI/RFP documents and develop comprehensive solution proposals.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, addressing client queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with Product and Implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from presales to delivery.
• Conduct client workshops, product training, and enablement sessions for partners.
• Keep up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software presales, solution consulting, or technical sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of software solutions such as business intelligence (BI), analytics, low-code platforms, or enterprise systems.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and handling RFI/RFP responses.
• Familiarity with databases, data visualization, and workflow automation tools is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, presentations, and client engagements.
