Technical Sales – Software Application (SDO)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate software solutions.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and live demonstrations to highlight features and business value.
• Design and develop customized Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) tailored to client needs.
• Prepare and respond to technical sections of RFI/RFP documents, including solution proposals.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Work with Product and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to project delivery.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities for clients and partners.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in software presales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of software solutions such as business intelligence (BI), analytics, low-code platforms, or enterprise applications.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and responding to RFI/RFP requirements.
• Familiarity with databases, data visualization tools, and workflow automation is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations.
• Proficiency in Hokkien is preferred.
