Job Description

Position Title: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Operations Manager


Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, compliance with employment laws, and consistency in HR practices across all entities. The position involves developing and implementing HR policies, managing workforce planning, and driving performance and talent development initiatives.

The incumbent leads HR operations, ensures accurate reporting and compliance, and collaborates with department heads to build a productive, engaged, and high-performing workforce.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, performance management, training & development, employee relations, industrial relations, and HR administration.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and manpower planning strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives, grievance handling, and recognition programs.
  • Oversee performance management processes including appraisals, KPI/OKR tracking, and employee development planning.
  • Develop, review, and enhance HR policies, procedures, and SOPs to ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, standards, and internal requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, and proper maintenance of employee records.
  • Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs to support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and guide the HR team to ensure effective execution and alignment with HR objectives.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold a positive organizational image in all interactions.
  • Perform any additional duties or strategic assignments as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to acting in the best interest of the organization.
