Senior Sales Manager
Job Description
-
Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability.

Lead, manage, and develop the sales team by providing guidance, setting performance standards, and monitoring individual and team performance.

Prepare and execute action plans for both individual sales staff and the team to effectively identify and pursue sales leads and prospects.

Initiate and coordinate strategic plans to expand into new markets and increase market penetration.

Support the development and implementation of marketing initiatives when required.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with sales staff to strengthen communication, identify training needs, and improve sales performance and activities.

Provide timely performance feedback and updates to senior management.

Prepare and submit accurate and competitive pricing proposals for prospects while maintaining optimal profit margins.

Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and operational coordination.

Maintain accurate records of pricing, sales activities, and performance reports.

Manage departmental expenses and ensure alignment with approved budget guidelines.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and business ethics, and communicate these effectively to the sales team.

Demonstrate strong leadership by setting examples in professionalism, commitment, organizational skills, and sales practices.

Conduct regular coaching and mentoring sessions to enhance motivation, selling skills, and team performance.

Maintain strong relationships with clients in the assigned market to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Manage overseas sales activities and work with international distributors where required.

Handle business-to-business (B2B) sales activities within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
-
Possess at least a Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
-
Proficient in written and spoken English.
-
Prior experience in sales is required.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.

Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
-
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) related to managerial responsibilities and authorities.
