Job Responsibility and Authority

• Coordinate with headquarters or intercompany teams to develop strategies for new product introductions.

• Develop project timelines, identify required resources, and evaluate manufacturing process costs.

• Monitor the progress of new product development and ensure projects are executed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Develop product testing plans and perform production tests based on manufacturing process instructions.

• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and other relevant departments to conduct planned testing activities.

• Establish new manufacturing process requirements, specifications, and related guidelines.

• Analyze product or design issues and recommend corrective actions to address failures.

• Support the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in preparing material lists and registering new products or product changes.

• Report to the Product & Process Manager, maintain updates on product development status, and prepare relevant reports.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Ability to influence and persuade others to adopt improved processes or practices.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and resolve problems effectively.

• Proficient in computer applications, including AutoCAD and other relevant information technology tools.
