Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer / Asst Manager – Sales
Reporting To : Sales Manager

Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical solutions to customers, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the precision engineering and manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
-Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue sales leads.
-Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions.
-Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
-Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
-Follow up on enquiries, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales orders.
-Coordinate with internal teams on order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
-Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business strategy.
-Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.
-Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
-Attend customer meetings, site visits, and exhibitions when required.

Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial or related field).
-Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development within manufacturing / precision engineering industries.
-Strong technical knowledge and ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
-Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
-Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
-Proficient in MS Office; experience with ISO requirements is an advantage.
-Willingness to travel locally or overseas when required.
-Possess own transport.
