Job Descriptions

Perform TIG welding (primarily stainless steel) for heat exchanger coils, manifolds, headers, and associated components in accordance with approved WPS and fabrication drawings.

Prepare materials prior to welding, including tube cutting, fitting, alignment, tack welding, and joint preparation.

Ensure welding parameters, filler materials, and joint configurations comply with approved procedures and job requirements.

Conduct visual self-inspection of completed welds and support Welding Inspectors or QC personnel during in-process and final inspections.

Carry out weld repair or rework activities as instructed when defects are identified.

Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of stainless-steel materials to prevent contamination, surface damage, or corrosion.

Operate welding machines, tools, fixtures, and jigs safely and ensure proper equipment condition.

Comply with all safety requirements, PPE usage, and standard operating procedures at all times.

Support production targets by completing assigned work efficiently while maintaining required quality standards.

Assist in basic fabrication, assembly, or workshop support tasks related to heat exchanger production as required.

Perform additional tasks and projects outside of the job description to support the team's needs and the company's growth.
Job Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.

Strong hands-on experience in TIG welding, particularly stainless steel tubing and thin-wall materials.

Minimum 2 years welding experience in a fabrication, heat exchanger, pressure equipment, or similar industrial environment.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication instructions

Basic understanding of welding defects, quality expectations, and dimensional accuracy.

Knowledge of safe working practices in welding and fabrication environments.

Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to follow instructions and procedures.

Familiarity with heat exchanger fabrication, tube-to-manifold welding, and precision welding work is highly preferred.

Experience working under ISO-based or internal quality management systems is an advantage.

Proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges as they arise.
