POSITION: EQUIPMENT ENGINEER
Job Descriptions:
• Welding Techniques:
– Welders use different methods such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to join metal components.
– They must select the appropriate technique based on the materials and project specifications.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
– They read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution of welds.
• Equipment Operation:
– Welders set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
– This includes troubleshooting and repairing machines as needed.
• Quality Control:
– Inspecting and testing welds is crucial to ensure they meet design requirements and safety standards.
– Welders use tools like micrometers & weld gauges to check the accuracy & quality of their work.
• Safety Compliance:
– Adhering to safety regulations is essential. Welders must wear protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Material Preparation:
– They measure, cut, and shape metal components before welding, ensuring that all pieces fit together correctly.
• Collaboration:
– Welders often work alongside other professionals, such as electricians and general laborers, to complete projects efficiently
– Ensure that QMS, 5S and safety & health guidelines are followed.
– Maintaln effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Managements System.
Requirements:
- • Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Degree / Professional certificate in Engineering.
- • At least 2 years working experience related to Welding ( MIG & TIG ) & SAP experience or equivalent.
- • Knowledge in production process, machine installation and commissioning, and maintenance activities.
