POSITION: ASSISTANT MANAGER/ MANAGER WAREHOUSE 

Job Descriptions: 

1. Operational Management:

• Assist in planning and implementing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.

• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and equipment.

• Oversee the processing of orders, shipping, and receiving activities.

 

2. Inventory Control:

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.

• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.

 

3. Staff Supervision:

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

 

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the warehouse.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

 

5. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.

• Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and other relevant metrics.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

 

Requirements: 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

 

• Skills:

o Strong organizational and time management skills.

o Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

o Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

o Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

o Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

 

• Personal Attributes:

o Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.

o Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

o Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree or substantial related work experience Physical requirements/Work Environment
  • This position primarily works in a warehousing environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights up to 20 feet. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
  • Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
