POSITION: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR 

Job Descriptions: 

1) Oversee Daily Production Operations

 Coordinate and supervise day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to production schedules, and  achievement of output targets.

2) Ensure Timely and Quality Manufacturing

 Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, meet deadlines, and optimize efficiency in collaboration with the Quality Control/Assurance team.

3) Ensure Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Standards

 Promote and enforce workplace safety protocols, ISO procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements across all production activities.

4) Manage Production Resources and Schedules

 Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively; review and adjust production plans to meet demand and reduce delays.

5) Implement 5S and Housekeeping Practices

 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment through enforcement of 5S methodology and good housekeeping.

6) Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

 Identify, resolve, and prevent production-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

7) Track, Report, and Maintain Documentation

 Maintain accurate production records and KPIs; ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and report regularly to management.

8) Support Equipment Maintenance

 Collaborate with the Engineering team to schedule routine maintenance and swiftly address equipment malfunctions.

9) Train and Develop Production Staff

 Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to production employees on SOPs, safety, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

10) Drive Continuous Improvement and Cost Control

 Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance overall productivity.

11) Manage Non-Conformance and Process Updates

 Initiate and investigate non-conformance via Service Request (SR) and update SOPs and Work Instructions as necessary to reflect process changes.

12) Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

 Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure coordinated production operations.

13) Perform Additional Duties as Assigned

 Support broader business objectives by undertaking other responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements: 

• • Bachelor’s degree in science, Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, or comparable.
• • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• • Strong understanding of production planning, workflow, and quality control processes.
• • Knowledge of 5S methodology, lean principles, and workplace organization.
• • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/ production software.
• • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Prefer candidate with experience in process from F&B process industry. Strong candidate from other industry will be considered too.
