JOB TITLE: FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER 

Job Requirements:

• Oversee and accurately process daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, credit card activity, and payroll.

Maintain full compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations.

• Oversee and accurately process daily transactions, including, but not limited to, AP, AR, Receipts, Employees Expenses Claims

• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Ensure proper and timely recognition of revenue and expenses.

• Monitor liquidity by tracking cash and investment balances and preparing cash flow forecasts.

• Maintain full compliance with GAAP standards and applicable laws and regulations.

• Partner with the Director of Finance and budget managers to develop, monitor, and report on budgets at the departmental, project, and organizational levels.

• Lead fiscal year-end close processes and coordinate with external auditors.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Director of Finance.

• Champion process improvements by leveraging technology and training staff to optimize accounting systems.

• Manage administrative duties, including state unemployment and income tax registrations.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support organizational priorities.

 

Desired Experience and Skills for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

• Proven experience in a high-growth, technology, or ad-tech company is highly preferred

• Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, corporate finance, and managing a finance team.

• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations, as well as Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) (SFRS(I)s)

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.

• Proven track record of implementing best-in-class financial systems and processes.
