JOB TITLE: SALES MANAGER 

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Opportunity Generation
    1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching, targeting, and qualifying potential clients.
    2. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline that achieves at least three (3) times the monthly sales quota.
    3. Develop market insights to uncover untapped opportunities and competitive advantages.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    1. Establish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CXOs and senior executives.
    2. Act as a trusted advisor by recommending tailored solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable value.
    3. Maintain ongoing client engagement through proactive communication, performance reviews, and value-added support.
  3. Sales Planning & Execution
    1. Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
    2. Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns, lead generation, and client engagement initiatives with business goals.
    3. Oversee sales handover to the delivery team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  4. Market Intelligence & Product Development
    1. Stay up to date on industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancement or new product development.
    2. Provide feedback to management on market demands, pricing trends, and customer needs.
  5. Reporting & Forecasting
    1. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management.
    2. Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    3. Participate in regular sales review and forecasting meetings with management and relevant teams.
  6. Quality & Standards Compliance
    1. Uphold organizational standards and ensure quality service delivery across all client engagements.
    2. Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Professional Development & Industry Engagement
    1. Continuously develop professional knowledge through workshops, seminars, and industry networking.
    2. Benchmark and adopt best practices from leading organizations to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness.
  8. Team Collaboration & Contribution

1. Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve collective business goals.

2. Contribute to the team’s success by supporting special initiatives and other duties as assigned.

 

Candidate Requirements

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in solution selling, enterprise software, or technology/ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, capable of engaging C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
  • High proficiency in digital marketing tools, data analytics, and content marketing strategies.
