JOB TITLE: SALES MANAGER
Primary Responsibilities
- Business Development & Opportunity Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching, targeting, and qualifying potential clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline that achieves at least three (3) times the monthly sales quota.
- Develop market insights to uncover untapped opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CXOs and senior executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor by recommending tailored solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable value.
- Maintain ongoing client engagement through proactive communication, performance reviews, and value-added support.
- Sales Planning & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns, lead generation, and client engagement initiatives with business goals.
- Oversee sales handover to the delivery team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence & Product Development
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancement or new product development.
- Provide feedback to management on market demands, pricing trends, and customer needs.
- Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in regular sales review and forecasting meetings with management and relevant teams.
- Quality & Standards Compliance
- Uphold organizational standards and ensure quality service delivery across all client engagements.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Professional Development & Industry Engagement
- Continuously develop professional knowledge through workshops, seminars, and industry networking.
- Benchmark and adopt best practices from leading organizations to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness.
- Team Collaboration & Contribution
1. Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve collective business goals.
2. Contribute to the team’s success by supporting special initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Professional Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in solution selling, enterprise software, or technology/ERP systems is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM systems.
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, capable of engaging C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable marketing and sales strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
- High proficiency in digital marketing tools, data analytics, and content marketing strategies.
