Job Title: PRODUCTION PLANNER

Job Scope / Responsibilities

1. Planning Support

• Assist the Production Planner in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Update production progress, stock levels, and shipment schedules.
• Ensure planning data is accurate and up-to-date in Jetti/Excel systems.

2. Coordination & Follow-Up

• Liaise with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to track material readiness and shipment status.
• Support in following up with customers on sales forecasts and delivery requirements.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare planning reports, shipment status updates, and tracking documents for management.
• Maintain filing and records related to production planning.

4. ISO & Quality Compliance

• Support compliance with ISO 9001 / ISO 14000 in planning-related documentation.
• Assist during audits and provide required records.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Participate in planning meetings and provide suggestions to improve planning processes.
• Learn and support the senior Production Planner in system and process improvements.

Requirements

• Age: 35 – 50 years old
• Qualification: SPM / Certificate / Diploma
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in production planning
• Responsible for production and stock planning
• Able to liaise with customers for sales forecasts, and work closely with production & logistic teams to meet shipment schedules
• Basic knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO14000
• Proficient in computer software (Excel / PowerPoint)
• Salary range: RM4,500 – RM6,000
