Presales Consultant (System Infra)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• · Solution Design & Architecture: Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges. Design and architect comprehensive system infrastructure solutions that address their needs, leveraging our portfolio of products and services.
• · Technical Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for our system infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to:

1. o Servers and storage (Lenovo, HPE, Dell, Pure Storage)
2. o Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Sangfor HCI)
3. o Networking (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, H3C)
4. o Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
5. o Data backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault)

• · Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to prospective clients. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions.
• · Proposal & RFP Support: Assist the sales team in preparing technical proposals, responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and creating detailed SOWs (Statements of Work).
• · Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• · Market & Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape in the system infrastructure market. Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams based on market needs and customer feedback.
• · Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, post-sales, and professional services teams to ensure a smooth transition from Pre-Sales to implementation.

Requirements:

• · Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• · Experience:

1. o 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or similar technical role.
2. o Proven track record of designing and selling complex system infrastructure solutions.
3. o Deep technical knowledge of servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.

• · Technical Skills:

1. o Hands-on experience with major hardware and software vendors (eg., Cisco, HPE, VMware).
2. o Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
3. o Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.

• · Soft Skills:

1. o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. o Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
4. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• · Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
