JOB TITLE : FERTILISER FORMULATION SPECIALIST 

Job scope

1. Research, design, and develop new organic fertilizer formulations, including basic and fortified blends, tailored to specific crop needs and soil conditions in Malaysia and target markets.

2. Experiment with and evaluate various organic raw materials (e.g., compost, animal manures, plant-based sources, biochar, rock phosphate, etc.) to optimize nutrient content and fertilizer performance.

3. Develop cost-effective formulations by strategically selecting and blending raw materials while maintaining high-quality standards and agronomic efficacy.

4. Conduct laboratory and field trials to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of new and existing formulations on plant growth, yield, and soil health.

5. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in organic fertilizer technology, agronomy, and sustainable agriculture practices.

6. Provide agronomic advice and support to the sales and marketing teams, as well as directly to customers, on the appropriate use of the company's fertilizer products for various crops and soil types.

7. Ensure that all fertilizer formulations and product information comply with relevant Malaysian regulations and standards.

Academic qualification

Bacherlors/Masters/Phd in related field:

• Agronomy

• Soil Science

• Plant Science

• Agricultural Chemistry or Applied Chemistry

• Others that are relevant

Industrial experience

• Prior working experience in fertiliser related industry
