JOB TITLE: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

• Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
• Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
• Material cost Saving
• Supplier consolidation
• New Project RFQ Cycle Time
• Aged inventory Reduction
• Monitoring open Purchase Orders and Stock Status reports and expediting order fulfillment to ensure on -time delivery
• Procurement Compliance
• Assist logistics process, inventory maintenance, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Any other ad-hoc task which require time to time

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Knowledge of Materials Management
• Ability to work independently
• Able to read and write English and Malay / Chinese

Education or Formal Training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Equivalent Training

Experience Required

• At least 5 years of working experience in Plastic Manufacturing or related to Supply Chain activities

Materials and Equipment Used

• PC / Laptop

Working Environment/ Physical Activities

• Office environment
