SUPERVISOR

Job Objectives:

1. Managing Production Team:

• Directly supervise production line activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
• Coordinate with team leaders and operators to assign tasks, monitor progress, and address any issues or bottlenecks.

2. Ensuring Productivity and Quality Standards:

• Oversee the production line to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and corrective actions as needed to optimize efficiency and minimize defects.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, address any hazards or violations, and promote a safety-first culture.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Enforce adherence to quality control procedures, production standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.

5. Communication and Collaboration:

• Foster open communication and collaboration between production teams, other departments, and management to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
• Act as a liaison between production staff and management, conveying feedback, concerns, and suggestions to facilitate continuous improvement.

6. Team Management and Development:

• Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve performance goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance skills and knowledge

7. Leadership and Team Building:

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect among team members.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of production operations.

8. Problem-solving and Decision-making:

• Proactively identify and address production issues to resolve challenges and minimize disruptions.
• Make informed decisions regarding resource allocation, scheduling, and prioritization to optimize production outcomes.

9. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean manufacturing projects or process optimization efforts, to drive operational excellence and cost savings.
• Encourage innovation and creativity among team members to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Additional Requirements:

• Other assigned duties by superior as and when needed

Requierements: 

1. Must possess at least a STPM, Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field or relevant studies.

2. Min 2 years working experience with proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.

3. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

4. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.

5. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Able to communicate effectively and sensitively.

7. Sound knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.

8. Demonstrate good attendance and work quality.

9. Knowledge in ISO9001:2015 is an added advantage. 1
