Job Dimensions: 

• Oversee and manage site-wide capital and improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources in collaboration with the Capex Controller.
• Support maintenance activities and plant reliability initiatives as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards throughout project lifecycles.

Job Description:

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all project activities adhere to safety regulations and company’s internal HSEQ policies.
• Participate in risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, JSA) and implement mitigation measures.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability across project teams.

Project Management

• Lead the full project lifecycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing.
• Develop project charters, scopes, budgets, timelines, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure all projects comply with HSEQ, DOSH, and company standards.
• Work closely with the Capex Controller to manage project financials and reporting.
• Create detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Allocate internal and external resources efficiently.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain risk registers and contingency plans.
• Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across departments.
• Prepare scopes of work (SOW), evaluate bids, and manage contracts.
• Oversee contractor performance and compliance.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks during and after execution.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure smooth handover to operations or maintenance teams.

​Maintenance Support

• Assist in planning and executing maintenance shutdowns and turnaround activities.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and reliability improvements.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Engineering or higher
• Over 4 years of hands-on experience in capex management and maintenance
• Proficient in SAP for capex and maintenance planning
• Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
