Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Dimensions:

• Support the maintenance and reliability of plant assets including machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Assist in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Assist in conducting and reviewing risk assessments (OSH-RA, ERA, JSA, HAZOP).
• Report near-misses, unsafe acts, and incidents promptly.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, legal regulations, and company standards.

Mechanical Integrity & Reliability

• Support inspections and maintenance of critical equipment (pumps, compressors, vessels, piping).
• Assist in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and mechanical integrity documentation.
• Participate in reliability studies and data analysis (e.g., MTBF, MTTF).

Project Support

• Assist in planning and executing maintenance and small capital projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to support project execution.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to senior engineers and managers.

Maintenance Operations

• Execute maintenance work requests (MWR) in coordination with production.
• Support spare parts management and inventory control using SAP or equivalent systems.
• Participate in annual stock counts and inventory reporting.
• Assist in turnaround and shutdown activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., SAP), AutoCAD, and reliability tools is an advantage
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the engineering function.
