Job Title: Global Procurement Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for material sourcing and related operations. Optimize the supply chain to control procurement costs and meet requirements in responsiveness, cost control, delivery schedules, and product quality.
Act as a liaison between domestic and overseas to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of any exceptions or issues.
Lead the development of new projects and product sampling; responsible for sourcing and qualifying new suppliers.
Plan and implement cost-reduction initiatives, promote annual cost-down projects and VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) cost-reduction programs.
Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate overseas procurement engineers and subordinate team members.
Job Requirements:
IELTS score of 6.5 or above, or TOEFL score of 80 or above; English can be used as a working language.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management and procurement team leadership.
Familiar with the mechanical or electronics industries, with abundant supplier resources in related areas.
Experience in procurement, supplier management, cost control, and procurement planning related to:
Mechanical: Sheet metal stamping and welding, machining, aluminum die casting, aluminum extrusion, injection molding, powder metallurgy, gears, brushed and brushless DC motors, worm gears, shafts, heat treatment, surface treatment.
Electronics: PCBA, electronic assembly, plastic parts, AC power cords, DC wire harnesses, electronic components, IC chips, MOSFETs, transformers, inductors, and other magnetic components.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, organizational and strategic thinking, innovation capability, cost control expertise, and a broad perspective.
Strong sense of curiosity, responsibility, professionalism, urgency, and high work efficiency.
Excellent team spirit, communication, and management skills. Capable of contributing to the construction and improvement of the company’s management system, effectively leading and mentoring subordinates to enhance their procurement expertise.
