Position: Sourcing Engineer
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATION
- Degree/Diplom a holder in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the procurement of cost-effective, high-quality materials and components.
- Familiarity with SAP/MRP software and Familiar with Office software
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Work closely with internal team sto support product development and production while ensuring compliance with quality and industry standards.
- Experience in supplier qualification, auditing, and cost analysis..
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while exploring new opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement.
2. Procurement & Cost Management
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor and analyze material costs, market trends, and supplier capabilitiesto optimize sourcing strategies.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and supply reliability.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering and production teams to align sourcing strategies with project needs.
- Provide technical support in supplier selection and alternative material sourcing.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics team sto ensure smooth delivery and inventory management.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies..
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delays, or non-compliance.
5. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Continuously improving sourcing processes to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Track and report sourcing metrics, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance
