Position: Quality Emgineer
Job Responsibilities
|
Ensure Parts delivered to customer meets or exceed customer expectations.
Before Mass Production
- Participate in APQP
- Understand customer quality requirements and translated to Inspection Instruction
- Lead and conduct pre-production capabilities studies
- Prepare document Inspection Instructions
- Sign off golden samples and (if applicable) limit samples
- Train quality inspectors to inspect the parts according to Inspection Instructions
Mass Production
- Conduct line audits on a pre-defined frequency to ensure that all parts are meeting customer requirements
- Obtain quality feedbacks from customer regularly to monitor our quality trends and take appropriate preventive actions if trends indicate that the quality is getting worse
- Analyze all customer returns and make continual improvement plans to reduce and ultimately eliminate customer returns
- Making disposition on non-conforming products
- Participate in Quality meeting among the department or related Department
Customer Feedback, Complaints and Enquires
- Customer quality feedbacks are to be replied within 1 working days of customer feedback or customer required dateline whichever earlier
- Containment action report for the customer quality feedback must be within 24 hours
- Monitor all customer complaints and update on the CAR Tracking Log Sheet
- Recommend for Continuous Improvement for the high repeating quality issues from Customer

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies
|
- Experience in ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & any others International Standard
- Basic knowledge on Plastic Injection Molding Process & Secondary Process
- Knowledge on 8D principles and application
- Knowledge on Ishikawa Diagram and 3 x 5 Whys
- Knowledge on process capability studies (cpk, ppk)
- Understanding well quality control core tools, E.g. : APQP,PPQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA & Etc…
- Computer Literacy – Basic Computer knowledge (including MS Office Applications such as MS Words, MS Excel)
- Minimum 3 years experiences in Quality Assurance (5 years for education lower than Diploma)
- Language Proficiency: English – able to read and write
- Able to lead and resolve all customer complaints with minimum supervision
- Able to communicate with customer.
- Familiar with SPC, FMEA, Control Plan and Work Instruction
- Able to monitor and analyze data for improvement and / or to prevent potential non-conformities

Education or Formal Training
|
- Higher/Graduate At least a diploma in any area OR a secondary education with at least 5 years experiences in Quality Assurance
|
Experience Required
|
- Minimum 3 year experiences in Quality Assurance
|

- Office environment
- Travel is required (visit Oversea Customer & Supplier)
