Position Title: Supply Chain Support Assistant
Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Purpose of the Position:
- This position is to perform the administration roles on customs compliance, compiling the duty drawback / refund / and exemption reporting and compiling the logistic/freight cost and reporting requirements, PR/PO issuance for supply chain operations. This position reports to Site Enabling Unit Lead
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, compile, apply and administer the customs compliance reporting in relation to all customs duty /tax exemption facilities
- Maintain and ensure validity of customs tariff codes and duty rates applicable to all import and export items
- Apply for Customs tariff classification for new items as they arise
- Compile, verify logistic and freight invoices and taxes paid on behalf
- To raise Purchase Requisition for freight / taxes etc. and perform MIGO accordingly
- To support, and participant in any new system/process implementation for the site related to supply chain operations
- To monitor in-coming raw material arrivals (as needed)
- To compile the monthly freight related cost report for manager to analyze
- To support PR/PO request process for supply chain operations
- To perform any other jobs assigned by management/Supply Chain executive from time to time
- To support for freight settlement
Qualification / Requirements:
- Minimum Academic Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/BA/Finance
- Demonstrated good administrative skills in compiling reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office, expert in Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing SAP (Added advantage)
- Experience in dealing with Government Authorities – ie : Customs, MITI, MDTCC, MOF, SIRIM and etc (Not compulsory but added advantage)
- To have experience managing activities related to import/export compliance (Not mandatory but good to have)
- Verbal and Written Communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia capabilities are essential
- Communication and interaction skill (cross functionally), time management and ability to multi-task, work professionally and drive to achieve the target with minimum supervision
