PROGRAM MANAGER
Position: Program Manager
Position Purpose |
A Program Manager in plastic injection molding oversees all aspects of a product's development and production within the injection molding process, from initial design and tooling to final product delivery. This role requires a blend of project management, engineering, and manufacturing knowledge to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. |
Job Responsibilities |
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing production, ensuring all projects meet customer requirements.
Collaborate with various internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales) and external suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality in the injection molding process.
Work with the quality team to establish and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring molded parts meet specifications.
Possess a strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling to address technical issues and optimize processes.
Identify and resolve technical and project-related issues to ensure projects stay on track. |
- Performance Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies
- At leaset 5 yeas above in Managerial role in Plastic Injection Moulding Project Management industries.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese & English fluently (oral & written).
- Good Leadership to lead Project Management Team.
- Required skill: Microsoft /ERP
- Knowledge: Mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM, BOM, ERP system, program management, QC tools, IATF16949, APQP, FMEA, CP, FAI, Cp/Cpk, 4M, NPI.
- Good communication skills internally and externally (co-workers, customer, supplier)
Education or Formal Training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or professional cert in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing.
Experience Required
- Experience fabrication or manufacturing sector.

- PC

- Office environment
- Travel is required (For supplier or customer visits)
