Position: IT Manager

Job Description

1. Validate, Modify, Reviewing, Adding and Removal of end users’ respective individual accounts’ access rights based on HOD’s approval in the designated IT Ticketing system.
2. Oversee the renewal of continuity of support contracts/licenses/warranty.
3. Performing daily network and system administration for the local office.
4. Ad-hoc liaising with Management, HOD, Departmental Managers of local office as well as regional offices for any IT issues, projects, requirements and implementations.
5. Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and software; implement solutions or notifies outsource providers as required.
6. Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users access needs and providing justifications for equipment and services.
7. Conduct IT feasibility studies for departments and implement when required.
8. Managing key services like Firewall appliance, E-mail system, Backup system, Time/Clock system, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, as well as VPN services.
9. Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirement

1. Minimum Degree in Information Technology, professional certification or related discipline
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in managing an IT department
3. Proficient in writing, presentation and good command of English
4. Proficiency in Wintel, Networking and Virtualization is a Must.
5. Self-motivated, independent, good communication, confident and able to multi-task.
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. Experience in ISO27001 and any IT audit compliances will be an advantage
8. Able to join immediately is an advantage.
