Job Responsibility

1. Reporting to Assistant Production Moulding Manager.
2. Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Production Process Department.
3. Planning the work schedules of the shift supervisors, material handlers and operators.
4. Responsible for proper upkeep of all injection machines in plant.
5. Responsible for trouble shooting of all issues related to mold and injection parts.
6. Services, maintain and perform minor repair on molds. Make recommendations for changing parts for mold. Properly record mold repair history including changes pf parts for molds.
7. Prepare record and maintain spare parts/inserts for each mold. Liaise with vendors for inserts repair and mold related jobs with the approval from the superior.
8. Perform changing of colors and types for all products.
9. Perform monthly calibration of Master Batch dosing systems (Kawata).
10. Maintain the drawings and documents for all mold, hot runners etc.
11. Conduct training to Material Handler on operation of the injection machine.
12. Work with Maintenance/Facilities Team on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of injection machines.
13. Keeping up to date record of the parameter setting date.
14. Stand in as supervisor when one shift supervisor in on leave or not available.
15. Assist the Superior in troubleshooting of other production equipment.
16. Perform any related duties as and when instructed by superior.
17. Company reserve the right to add substrate change, modify the role as and when the business or organizational needs.

Competency Requirement

Qualification:

1. Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or ITE or Certificate on Tool & Die or mold making or equivalent.

Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in plastic injection manufacturing environment.

Skills (if required)

1. Familiar with plastic injection machine function and mold servicing.
