Production Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform assembly, test and rework of sub-assemblies and final assembly of units by following written work instructions, blue prints and schematics.
Follow process, policies and procedures and accurately complete manufacturing and test documentation as required
Support and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen events, Cycle Counting, 5S etc.
Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies.
Comply with all applicable corporate and regulatory export control and security regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:	SPM/ High school “O” level or equivalent
Experience:	With or without experience in a similar role in an engineering/ manufacturing or related industry preferred
Knowledge/Skills:	Excellent mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and experience working with small hand tools and electronic test equipment English verbal & written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles including Kanban, Cycle counting, 5S Basic knowledge of computer applications.
Supervises:	None

Working hours

Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm, Sat & Sun Off

Overtime depends on production volume

Meal subsidy RM6/day

Medical RM1500/year (include spouse & children)

Dental RM325/year (individual)

EPF from company – More than 3 years, 15%
