Position: HR Senior Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will drive the full spectrum of HR functions in the company and its subsidiaries in regional countries. You will design and lead company's HR practices and objectives in an employee-oriented, values-driven, high-performance culture encompassing respect, collaboration, ownership and accountability.

 

Scope of Work

  • Recruitment and Hiring: Writing job descriptions, managing applications, conducting interviews, performing background checks, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Onboarding: Ensuring new hires understand their roles, company policies, and culture while providing necessary tools and resources for success.
  • Talent Management: Developing strategies for training, career growth, succession planning, and retaining top talent.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Managing compensation packages, benefits programs, and ensuring timely payroll processing. 
  • Compliance with Employment Laws: Ensuring adherence to labor laws regarding wages, safety, and working hours.
  • Performance Management: Setting goals, conducting appraisals, and supporting employee development.
  • Company Culture Building: Promoting company values like innovation, collaboration, and diversity to create a positive work environment.

 

Qualities, Skills and Requirements

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to align HR strategies with the company's overall goals and vision.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility in managing diverse HR tasks and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to handle conflicts and HR-related issues efficiently.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with HR software and technology to streamline processes.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a tech industry or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR can be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Singapore and Manlaysia manpower laws and regulations
  • Ability to lead and manage a small HR team or work independently.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Proven ability to attract and retain top talent in a competitive tech market.
  • Employee Engagement: Strategies to foster a positive work culture and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Compliance Management: Ensuring all HR practices comply with legal requirements.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, such as benefits administration or performance management systems.
