Job Title: Tooling Engineer 

Position Purpose

The Tooling Engineer's responsibilities include creating and adjusting tools or parts for equipment and other components, using computer-aided (CAD) manufacturing. This might include designing and building tools from scratch, or improving/adjusting/rebuilding existing tools.Assist superior and subordinate to solve daily affairs such of tooling problem solving.

Job Responsibilities 

• DFM Create, Establishment of internal management processes and document management.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Tool shop workers, such as tool maker, Tool tech and polisher.
• Ensures safety compliance in all tasks.
• Ensures Project Time Logs are completed on time and are accurate.  Ensures tool shop cleanliness standards are met daily.
• Collaborates with Scheduling, and Final Finish to create a schedule for Mold Service/Repair.
• Tooling issue analysis and problem solving
• Assist superior and subordinate to solve daily affairs such of tooling problem solving.
• Assists in yearly performance reviews of all staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Minimum 5 years in tool repair supervisory experience and hands on experience.
• \Must display an attitude of cooperation and the ability to work well with others.
• Must have good attendance and be open minded.
• Ability to multitask and motivate team to keep projects on time with minimal overtime.

Education or Formal Training

• Secondary school
• Diploma

Experience Required

• Experience in tool repair and supervise several of employee

Materials and Equipment Used

• Tooling repair shop equipment and machine such of EDM, milling, grinding, CNC.

Working Environment/ Physical Activities

• Tooling repair shop with air-con envairement
