JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (TAMPOI)

Responsibilities:-

1. Identifying New Business Opportunities 
• Research potential markets, sectors, and companies for new business prospects.  
• Analyze industry trends and market data to uncover growth opportunities. 
• Build relationship with potential partners, clients and customers.  
2. Developing Growth Strategies And Plans  
• Create strategic plans to increase sales and revenue. 
• Work with senior management to define business goals and growth initiatives.  
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts, and stay updated on competitors. 
3. Building And Maintaining Client Relationship 
• Cultivate strong relationship with prospective clients. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients and partners.  
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to implement client retention strategies. 
4. Negotiating Deals And Contracts  
• Lead negotiations for new deals, contracts, and business partnership.  
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.  
• Ensure terms are beneficial and aligned with company goals. 
5. Managing Sales Pipelines  
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of leads and opportunities.  
• Track and manage business leads from initial contact to closure.  
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up and engagement. 
 
6. Analyzing Business Performance 
• Monitor the performance of new initiatives business activities.  
• Assess the success of business strategies and adapt as necessary. 
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products, services and business proposals. 
• Report regularly to senior management on progress and key performance indicators (KPIs). 
7. Collaborations With Internal Teams  
• Work with product development, sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business development objectives.  
• Share insights from market research and client feedback to inform business decisions.  
 

Requirements:-

  • Diploma / Degree in Polymer Science/ business study. 
  • At least 3 years working experience in elastomeric/ relevant field. 
  • Experience in managing MNC accounts. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and Communication skills. 
  • Able to work independently. 
  • Good spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English.  
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. 
  • Experience in costing is an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge of administrative and manufacturing procedures.
