Position: Auxiliary Police
Reports to: Assistant Officer – Security
Subordinates: nil
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM qualification (At least 5 Credits) or equivalent
- Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in security operations would be an added advantage
- Prompt, physically fit, and has capacity to work in shifts
- Attended specific training under the Malaysian Police Force
- Demonstrates ability to work in a team
Authorities:
- Enforce Safety and Health Policies with the assistance of Enforcement Team and in Collaborations with all HOD
- Communicates Group Safety’s and Health’s concerns and policies to the firm's Senior Managemen
Responsibilties:
- Executes patrolling and safety checking duties for the safety of the shopping mall and its surrounding area
Main Accountabilities:
- Patrols the shopping mall and its surrounding areas
- Conducts safety checks and other related activities to provide and maintain a safe environment
- Reports any suspicious or criminal activity to immediate superior
- Prevents any criminal activity as well as vandalism in the shopping mall and its surrounding areas
- To adhere to the company's safety protocols and guidelines at all times, and to understand and strictly comply with the Occupational Safety & Health policy outlined in the Company Staff Handbook
- Understands and applies all policies implemented by Company to any personal data received, used, transmitted, processed, or stored
- Ensures that personal data is not disclosed to any unauthorized third party without obtaining clearance from the Information Manager, or the PDP Officer
- Complies with all Company policies in relation to the Act and assists the Information Manager in any personal data protection matters
- Ensures that consent is obtained from the data subjects whenever personal data is collected and the personal data protection notice is always served to the data subjects upon collection of their personal data
- Reports any enquiries/complaints in relation to personal data and data security breach incidents to the Information Manager immediately
- Ensures that all personal data is protected from any physical damage and from any unauthorized access, alteration, removal, or destruction according to the Personal Data Protection Security Policy
- Reports any actual or suspected data security breach and violations to the Information Manager as soon as possible
- Provides full co-operation to the PDP Officer upon an internal audit or investigation
