Role: Program Engineer

Industry: Leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic components and products

Work Location: Larkin, Johor

Keys:

• Responsible to manage & coordinate program, new product introduction, customer demand, factory supply

  Support NPI team for ECN, BOM and etc

Responsibilities:

• Assist PM/BD team to max revenue to meet company AOP target.
• Improvement customer forecast accuracy and ensure PO coverage within lead time
• Follow up with internal team to ensure OTD and collect payment.
• Reduce factory excess and aging inventory.
• Support ECN and BOM checking in ERP system.
• Liaise with customer to understand customer’s requirements, timeline for NPI.
• New program or ECN management and coordination to deliver NPI according to customer’s requirement and timeline.
• Plan, update Gantt chart and monitor NPI builds to ensure NPI timeline meet.
• Lead and track all NPIs builds/mold trials issues, follow up and close systematically.
• Support prepare, review and consolidate PPAP/First Article Reports for customer’s approval.
• Update system data correctly and timely.
• Assist management on business report.

Requirements:​

• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese & English fluently (oral & written).
• Required skill: Microsoft.
• Knowledge: Mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM, BOM, ERP system, program management, QC tools, IATF16949, APQP, FMEA, CP, FAI, Cp/Cpk, 4M, NPI.
• Good communication skills internally and externally (co-workers, customer, supplier)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or professional cert in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing.

• Experience fabrication or manufacturing sector.

• Office environment
• Travel is required (For supplier or customer visits)
