Position Purpose

Optimizing production planning and inventory management processes to drive balance supply and demand

Job Responsibilities

• Develop feasible master plan and maintain ownership over the execution of the master plan
• Monitor and analyse the demand planning effectiveness and do adjustments as needed to meet customer demand, with timely delivery of the project in required.
• Identify and communicate any potential delays or changes with customer support team on recovery delivery dates
• Coordinate with the purchasing team on material availability to support the build plan and match with customer delivery requests
• Liaise with purchasing team to ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production is done prior to MO (Manufacturing order / Work Order) creation or release to production and Subcon order to subcon and meet to customer shipment
• Work closely with purchasing team in subcon incoming schedule
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information, such as sales forecasts, inventory levels, material availability, production capacity to enhance demand planning accuracy.
• Support factory to review materials and capacity constraints
• Support to reduce factory excess and aging inventory.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or the management team from time to time

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Proactive and passionate in planning field
• Ability to work independently and self-directed
• Able to read and write English / Malay and Chinese
• Good follow-up skills, accountability, on time feedback and support, willing to learn

Education or Formal Training

• Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent Training

Experience Required

• Working experience in Plastic Manufacturing or related to Supply Chain activities is preferred
