DESIGNATION:                               QC MANAGER

DEPARTMENT/ SECTION:              OPERATION

RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES:

1. Monitor and control of quality for ready-mixed concrete batching plant
2. Monitor and control of quality for material and equipment
3. Establish QC inspection plan
4. Approval of QC inspection report
5. Planning and sequencing of the inspection for ready-mixed concrete
6. Ensure ready-mixed concrete is inspected in accordance with QC inspection plan before delivery
7. Assign work and responsibility to QC personnel
8. Solve any major complaints/ problem from customer
9. Monitoring of company’s QHSE Objective
10. Propose measure for continuous improvement
11. Assist in conducting and reviewing the environmental aspect impact, hazard and risk assessment whenever there is a change in process, methodology, material or machinery used or after an incident/ accident
12. Ensure compliance of environmental, health and safety (EHS) measures at all time
13. Perform any other tasks which may be assigned by management from time to time
14. Comply the policy for fall prevention appropriate with the needs, activities and work at height risks.
15. Commit to prevent falls from height incidents, comply with applicable legal and other requirements.
16. Ensure that the policy for fall prevention is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation. The policy shall be reviewed periodically and amended as and when necessary.
17. Ensure the safety and health of all employees or workers, as well as persons affected by their work.
18. Ensure sufficient resources essential to establish, implement and maintenance of the fall prevention plan are made available so as to achieve its objectives.

RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in ready-mixed concrete batching plant for Precast Industry
2. Minimum with Degree/ Diploma in Civil/ Structural/ Building Engineering
3. Computer literate, preferable in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent
4. Must be able to work 5.5 days
