DESIGNATION:                               PRODUCTION MANAGER / ASST. PRODUCTION MANAGER

DEPARTMENT/ SECTION:              OPERATION

RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES:

1. Monitor and control of precast production and ready-mixed concrete batching plant
2. Oversee the planning of factory layout, production, delivery schedule, and day to day operation
3. Planning and arrangement of staff, manpower, machinery and material
4. Planning and sequencing of the production operations
5. Selection of material, machinery, supplier and sub-contractor
6. Control of production cost, QEHS of products and ready-mixed concrete
7. Solve any major complaints/ problems from Clients
8. Implement, monitor and review the environmental aspect impact, hazard and risk assessment whenever there is a change in process, methodology, material or machinery used or after an incident/ accident
9. Ensure all recommended control measure is implemented
10. Responsible for all environmental, health and safety (EHS) at the factory
11. Approve the Permit-to-Work, after Safety Assessor assessment on the condition of the work area
12. Organize and preside over the safety committee to ensure work is executed safely by all personnel
13. Organize and conduct EHS walkabout, inspection and take remedial actions where necessary
14. Responsible for the full implementation of Fall Prevention Plan
15. Maintain full compliance with all legal regulation, legislature and code of practice
16. Ensure compliance of environmental, health and safety (EHS) measures at all time
17. Perform any other tasks which may be assigned by management from time to time
18. Ensure that the policy for fall prevention is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation. The policy shall be reviewed periodically and amended as and when necessary.
19. Ensure the safety and health of all employees or workers, as well as persons affected by their work.
20. Ensure sufficient resources essential to establish, implement and maintenance of the fall prevention plan are made available so as to achieve its objectives.
21. Ensure that competent person(s) shall be appointed to develop, implement, maintain and evaluate the fall prevention plan. The fall prevention plan must be developed specific to the conditions of the premises, that is, on a site-to-site basis
22. Ensure that the appointed competent person(s) shall define, document and communicate the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of all levels of staff that may be affected by the fall prevention plan

RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Precast Industry
2. Minimum with Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering
3. Computer literate, preferably in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent
4. Must be able to work 5.5 days
