- Experience: Minimum 7 years relevant experience in conveyancing
- Technical skills:
- Possess good drafting and writing skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels (English)
- Experienced in reviewing and preparing corporate and commercial agreement, conveyancing agreement and due diligence research
- Ability to review legal, compliance documents and assess the qualitative/quantitative terms of the business impact
- Ability to work in a team and to meet deadlines
- Job Scope:
- To advise the company and its business units on the legalities in all its ventures, ensuring proper due diligence and enforceable agreements.
- To manage potential crisis and handling investigative work from legal perspective.
- To monitor and manage the Group’s day-to-day legal issues and documentation such as draft, vet and review and approve documents (for e.g. letters and agreements) and providing support to the various operating business units (Investments and Projects) in relation to legal documentation and processes.
- To ensure legal advice and terms of the legal documents are in the best interest of the company and / or its group of companies and in line with the company’s policy.
- To ensure execution and completion of the legal documents within the targeted timeline and in accordance with limits of authority.
- To maintain and review regulatory and operating compliance standard and procedures from the legal perspective; and recommends changes onto policy decisions.
