Job Position – PRODUCTION PLANNER ( PASIR GUDANG )

Job Descriptions

• Based on monthly forecast and replenishment orders from the market, create monthly / weekly /daily production plan and schedule
• Build production planning considering production line efficiencies, market service level and local supply chain limitations
• Interact with markets through plant logistic manager to react to order prioritization
• Liaise with the rest of supply chain team to ensure control of stock (finished goods mainly and packaging)
• Act as communication bridge between Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Report and analyse product and sales data (finished goods stock forecast etc) and proactively propose solutions
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the superiors.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience
• Degree in business or science field
• Experience with large industrial company preferred
• Experience with project basis / start-up company is an added advantage
• Language: English / Malay / Chinese
• Independent, organized, proactive;
• Ability to negotiate
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team, work within deadlines
• Having the ability to create and maintain a positive relationship
• To be assertive and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions, having communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize work (different projects and technologies)
• Ability to be a creative thinker; search solutions and simplify the situation
