Location: Pekan Nenas, 81500 Johor, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00 AM – 5.15 PM (Lunch Break: 12.30 PM – 1.30 PM)
Salary Range: MYR 4,000 – MYR 5,000 per month (With Incentive and Bonus)
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager with a dotted line to the Business Development Manager (BDM), the Quotation & Product Development Lead will oversee strategic vendor sourcing, project cost estimation, and product portfolio expansion. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Business Development teams to secure competitive vendor pricing, accelerate project quotes, and drive company sales growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Product Knowledge & Sourcing: Master and maintain comprehensive product knowledge of core stocking items. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Quality Assurance teams to identify, evaluate, and secure high-quality, cost-competitive strategic vendors.

Quotation Management & RFQ Support: Review Request for Quotations (RFQs) and provide accurate project quotations for new developments initiated by the Sales and Business Development team and Customer Service.

Project Review & Improvement: Conduct monthly reviews of pending quoted projects with Business Development Executives and Managers to evaluate and improve commodity pricing, lead times, and product quality.

Product Category Planning & Projection: Partner with Sales and Supply Chain teams to plan new product categories for stocking and development. Prepare market data analyses, sales projections, required investment calculations, and profit margin forecasts to accelerate business growth.

System & Part Creation: Facilitate the creation and setup of new part numbers in support of new project launches, account rollouts, and product range expansions.
Requirements

Education: Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Prior professional experience in supply chain operations, sourcing, or project quotation management is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Key Competencies: Excellent strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation capabilities. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
