Maintenance Technician

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Assistant Manager Maintenance & Facility

Salary Range: RM 3,000 – RM 4,000 per month

Responsibilities

(Major responsibilities and target accomplishments expected of the position including the typical problems encountered in carrying out the responsibilities)

1. Carry out Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Corrective maintenance of machines and facility equipment.

2. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance records for both scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance procedures.

3. Prepare daily activities and troubleshooting reports to track operational performance and downtime.

4. Recommend spare parts for replacement and proactively resolve maintenance-related issues.

5. Identify machine problems and provide timely feedback to the Production and Engineering teams.

6. Execute the Preventive Maintenance Schedule across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly intervals.

7. Take immediate action in the event of minor machine breakdowns and perform necessary follow-up corrective actions.

8. Cooperate closely with Engineering to resolve major operational, machine, or facility issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Technical Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics (Possession of an advanced-level qualification is an advantage).

2. Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.

3. Open to Recent Graduates or candidates with relevant work experience (prior experience is an added advantage).
