Senior / Executive of Operations & Sales

Location:  Pekan Nanas, Pontian, Johor

Gross Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 per month

Availability: Immediate / ASAP

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, result-oriented, and mature Senior / Executive of Operations & Sales to drive business growth, client relations, and operational alignment. In addition to core sales and freight forwarding operations, you will manage trade distribution, supplier ethical compliance, and ESG (3R Project) initiatives. The ideal candidate acts as a key liaison between Sales and Operations, possesses strong business acumen, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Development & Client Relations: Secure new customers, service existing accounts, manage sales leads, attend to inquiries, prepare quotations (Air, Sea, Trucking, Warehousing), and follow up to drive profitable growth.

• Operational Logistics & Coordination: Promoting company logistics services, liaising with forwarders/transporters to negotiate rates, tracking shipment progress, utilizing logistics IT, and resolving operational/customer issues promptly.

• ESG & Ethical Sourcing Leadership: Develop and implement ethical sourcing strategies, conduct supplier audits and assessments, evaluate vendor ESG performance (3R Project), and ensure compliance with ethical trade and fair labor standards.

• Distribution Channel & Co-op Management: Support assigned distributors, coordinate product promotions, manage Co-op programs and counter point-of-purchase areas, and participate in trade shows and marketing events.

• Reporting, Strategy & PR: Generate monthly sales reports, compile prospective client profiles, establish sales goals, and collaborate with internal/external teams and media to enhance corporate transparency and ESG reputation.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: At least 2–3 years of working experience in sales, logistics operations, or freight forwarding. Candidates with a background in ESG data analysis and performance metrics are strongly preferred.

• Language Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write well in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers).

• Technical & Business Skills: Strong business acumen, computer literacy, track record of building high-trust client relationships, and ability to navigate technical and pricing negotiations under pressure.

• Key Attributes: Mature, self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented, possesses own car transport, and capable of working independently.
