Production Manager

Location: Beranang, Selangor

Working Hours: 5-Day Work Week

Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 13,000 / Commensurate with Market Trend & Experience

Availability: Immediate / Early Joiners Preferred

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Production Manager to lead, plan, and optimize daily precast manufacturing operations at our Beranang facility. Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will be responsible for end-to-end production scheduling, resource allocation, quality assurance, cost control, and workforce supervision to ensure all targets are met on time and within specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Operations & Planning: Oversee daily precast production activities to achieve targeted output, high quality standards, and delivery deadlines. Develop and monitor master production schedules, manpower allocation, raw materials, and machinery utilization.

• Performance & Cost Management: Continuously track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational costs, cycle times, and material wastage. Identify bottlenecks and execute lean/continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant productivity.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with QA/QC, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Stockyard, and Logistics teams to streamline workflows and eliminate downtime.

• People Leadership: Lead, direct, and supervise production supervisors, line staff, and factory workers. Foster a disciplined, safety-first, and high-performance work culture.

• Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly enforce company procedures, ISO quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and environmental regulations. Conduct root-cause analyses on production non-conformities or defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Reporting & External Liaison: Analyze operational data, prepare comprehensive production reports, and provide regular updates to management. Liaise with subcontractors, transporters, site teams, and clients as required, including attending external site or project meetings.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 6 to 10 years of hands-on production management experience, strictly within precast concrete manufacturing, structural concrete, or heavy industrial manufacturing.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of precast manufacturing processes, concrete technology, factory floor workflow design, and resource optimization.

• Software Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis, yield tracking, and management reporting.

• Leadership & Core Attributes: Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong command of production logistics and team management. Disciplined, proactive, and target-driven.

• Flexibility: Open to traveling for site/client meetings and working extended hours or shifts when operational needs arise.
