Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pasir Gudang. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical equipment maintenance, driving project management initiatives, conducting failure investigations, and maintaining facility reliability. Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance: Plan and execute routine and preventive mechanical equipment and facility upkeep to maximize operational uptime.

Project Management: Develop technical specifications, manage project timelines, control budgets, allocate resources, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Failure Investigation & Troubleshooting: Diagnose faulty operations, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective remedies to resolve technical issues promptly.

Spare Parts & Inventory Supervision: Oversee and manage critical mechanical equipment spare parts to ensure continuous plant operations.

Reporting & Emergency Response: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly mechanical status reports, and respond immediately to emergency equipment breakdowns or abnormal factory events.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates with strong academic track records are welcome to apply).

Technical Skills: Familiarity with machinery diagnostics, specifically equipment vibration analysis, is highly preferred.

Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients.
