Senior Coating Technician / Coating Process Engineer
Location: Iskandar Puteri
Salary: RM 3,500 – RM4,500 per month
Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Coating Technician / Coating Process Engineer to manage and optimize conformal/selective coating processes for TEKNOWARE Asia Sdn Bhd. The candidate will handle machine setups, parameter programming, material handling controls, and defect troubleshooting to ensure output meets strict IPC and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities * Machine Setup & Programming: Set up, program, and operate conformal/selective coating equipment and establish process parameters.

Process & Defect Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve coating defects (e.g., bubbles, uneven coverage, insufficient coating) to maintain maximum process efficiency.

Material & Quality Control: Oversee viscosity control, curing parameters, and material handling to align with IPC or specific customer inspection criteria.

Project Support & Efficiency: Support new project setups, process validation, and implement yield enhancement strategies.

Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on guidance and technical training to machine operators while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements * Education: SPM / Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct experience in coating processes (preferably within a PCB/PCBA manufacturing environment).

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of conformal coating inspection criteria, IPC standards, and process troubleshooting.

Attributes: Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate independently and make critical technical decisions.
