Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,500 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SMT Technician to support our daily Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting SMT machines and related equipment, ensuring smooth production flow, minimal downtime, and high quality yield. You will perform essential machine maintenance, execute efficient line changeovers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet target production goals.
Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, operate, and monitor SMT production equipment (including Stencil Printers, Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, SPI, and AOI). Perform routine machine checks and seamless line changeovers.

Process Support & Maintenance: Execute basic troubleshooting for production and machine issues to sustain workflow. Conduct regular preventive maintenance and equipment verification.

Production & Quality Target Assurance: Closely monitor machine performance and line output to achieve daily operational and product quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues, optimize line efficiency, and ensure quality compliance.
Requirements

Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience: Hands-on experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding or experience with SMT line machinery, reflow ovens, stencil printers, and inspection equipment (SPI/AOI) is an advantage.

Work Arrangement: Willing and able to work shifts and perform overtime as required by production schedules
