BIM Modeler – Precast Industry

Working Location: Ulu Choh, Johor
Salary: RM2,500 – RM6,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a BIM Modeler to support the design and production of precast concrete elements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models, preparing shop drawings and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate and suitable for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for precast elements including walls, slabs, beams, columns and staircases.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and reinforcement layouts based on design requirements and production standards.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, drawings and related records.
• Coordinate with design engineers, production teams and site personnel to ensure model accuracy and constructibility.
• Review and cross-check shop drawings prepared by other modelers for quality and compliance.
• Support clash detection and BIM coordination activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or NTC in Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Draftsmanship or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM software such as Revit, Allplan or Tekla Structures.
• Knowledge of precast concrete design, detailing and production workflows.
• Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
